AtomDB Charge Exchange Model (ACX)

The AtomDB team is happy to announce the release of the first AtomDB Charge Exchange (acx) model suite. This is version 1.0.3, released June 13th 2019. The code works in XSPEC and ISIS, enabling CX modeling along the lines of that described in Smith et al. 2012. More detailed papers describing these models have either been submitted or are near to submission. Installation and usage instructions are also included in the tarball.

Version 1.0.3 contains a fi to prevent the acxion model from crashing in XSPEC changes to header files so that the model will work with the latest HEASOFT 6.24. There have been no other changes, so the results should be the same as earlier versions.

Version 1.0.2 contained changes to header files so that the model will work with the latest HEASOFT 6.24. 1

The model is available on GitHub or can be downloaded as a zip file.

If you are still using an older version of HEASOFT and version 1.0.2 doesn't work, you can try installing version 1.0.1
